Terms of use
Short, because the free extension asks nothing of you. These terms will grow when Pro exists; anything about paid features will be added here before the first sale, never after.
1. What ClarShot is
ClarShot is a browser extension for taking screenshots and screen recordings, editing them and exporting them. It runs entirely on your device. It is provided by ROEM NOSIS SRL ("we"), whose details are on the Legal page.
2. License
We grant you a free, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the extension for any lawful purpose, personal or commercial. You may not reverse engineer it beyond what the law allows, redistribute it as your own, or remove its notices. The free features listed on the pricing page stay free.
3. Your content
Everything you capture belongs to you and stays on your device. We never receive it. You are responsible for what you capture and share: respect other people's privacy and the rules of the sites and services you record.
4. Updates
Chrome installs updates automatically. Updates never remove a free feature or add a network request to the free extension; if a future version would change either, the change is announced 60 days in advance on this site.
5. No warranty, limited liability
The free extension is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We are not liable for indirect damages or for loss of captures or recordings; keep exports you care about in a safe place, as you would with any file. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer law gives you and that cannot be waived.
